i-Hear Free - Hearing Aid App Reviews

I downloaded the free version of this app and I liked it for its simplicity and that it amplifies sounds. However, I cannot do anything on my iPhone when I am using this app. I hope that the developers of the app will correct this flaw soon. So for now I am giving it 3 stars out of 5 because it is not that useful for me.

There is a delay in transmitting but the voice is realistic enough.

I have reduced hearing from working in construction for many years. This app provides a welcome boost to the affected ear. I especially like that I can dial up the volume to where its comfortable or necessary.

Product description is correct it doesnt work with a blue tooth what a shame. I had a horrible buzz when trying to use.

Very limited without upgrading. Also times out and mutes when phone goes to sleep.

As someone who has been wearing hearing aids for 15 years (thanks rock music industry), but occasionally takes them out when the batteries run down and Im caught without extras, its nice to have this handy app on my phone when I need it for meetings, soft talkers, and television-watching at night & dont want to bother my girlfriend. As a side note, it looks like Im not paying attention and listening to music when in fact Im overhearing conversations near me. Its just an amplifier (free version) so I have no qualms about what getting. For me, its very effective with my iPhone ear buds.

Im hearing impaired and this app is better then my hearing aid! Thanks for making an app for us! Youre awesome Ill be buying the paid version soon!

It dont work good at all. Sometime no sound, others a lot of interference. It turns off when phone goes in standby mode. Who want to purchase something you have to keep nursing to stay on and drains your phone power. It dont even mention if the paid version works in standby mode or not. Fix it!

Works well but most headphones have a mic now and this program does not work with mic type headphones. I want to use that type as i have a very high quality set of cordless bluetooth headphones.

I have hearing problems so I got all the apps for hearing loss and this one works the best. Could use to turn up just a little louder but other than that its awesome!!

This does not work for its intende purpose

This is fabulous!!!

My dads in the hospital. We had to yell in his face for him to hear us. Now this app and a set of headphones has changed everything. Gain set between 12-14, you dont even have to direct speech towards it. Thank you for this app.

I love this app because I can hear the tv batter because I cant hear the tv. Warning! This may damage your hearing.
